Egg Crack Detection

Combining NIR transmitting light with reflecting light can help detect cracks in eggs and improve the reliability of co-site imaging.

This technique is called C3 measuring-light-reflection-and-transmission. By taking a co-sight sampling picture of reflected light and transmitted light, the detection accuracy of cracks in eggs can be improved. Reflected light is visible color, while transmitted light is near-infrared (NIR) 1. By combining these two images, the detection accuracy of cracks in eggs can be improved.
